Purpose

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected from all employees, contractors, and representatives of Materia Scientia LLC. It ensures that we maintain integrity, professionalism, and compliance in all business activities.

Scope

This Code applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and representatives working on behalf of Materia Scientia LLC, whether in Australia or overseas.

    Adhere to all applicable Australian laws, international trade regulations, workplace health  safety requirements, and company policies.

    Treat colleagues, customers, suppliers, and partners with dignity, respect, and fairness. Discrimination, bullying, or harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
    Follow all safety procedures, report hazards, and support our commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible chemical handling.
  • Confidentiality & Data Protection
    Safeguard company information, customer data, and intellectual property. Do not disclose confidential information without authorisation.
  • Anti-Corruption & Fair Business
    Do not offer, accept, or engage in bribery, corruption, or unethical practices in procurement, sales, or partnerships.
  • Use of Company Resources
    Use company assets, including IT systems, responsibly and for legitimate business purposes.
  • Representation of Company
    Employees are ambassadors of Materia Scientia LLC. Always represent the company professionally in meetings, communications, and public forums.

Reporting Misconduct

Employees are encouraged to report breaches of this Code through appropriate internal channels. Whistleblowers will be protected from retaliation under company policy and Australian law.

Disciplinary Action

Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or legal proceedings.

Review

This Code will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing relevance, compliance, and alignment with best practices.
